Last weekend a mild spring Saturday afternoon coupled with Abingdon Square’s lush greenery was the perfect setting for the Conservancy’s third annual Tulip Serenade. The Bachtopus Accordian Ensemble, a quartet of four virtuoso accordionists, delighted an audience of close to 300 neighbors, friends and visitors with music spanning four hundred years from the Renaissance to Tango. Though they had peaked a week before, the tulips were truly spectacular this year. A wonderful time was had by all.
