8th Annual Tulip Celebration - Art & Music in the Square

This year’s Tulip Celebration was reimagined and took place in Abingdon Square: where the tulips and many other varieties of spring bulbs, almost 12,000 in all, were in dazzling bloom!

Sunshine and fresh air with art and music welcomed Spring in The Square, in all its glory.

Our neighbors enjoyed a stroll, sat in the sun, savored the blooms, took pictures and reconnected with friends

We were serenaded by cellist Peter Lewy, a familiar and loved West Village artist; and met up with “Kaz” Morimoto whose iconic Village paintings were on display and for sale. A portion of the proceeds were generously donated by Kaz to the Conservancy for the upkeep of the Square.
